Time : I start this drawing on 29.8.2012

About the drawing:
As you can see this drawing is almost 1/2 full by hair...and hair is always been a big challenge for me to draw especially to make it realistic but I really enjoy to draw it.
I use a lot of 3h and 5h to draw the negative space (white space) on the hair part which is some new techniques I learned from *Rick-Kills-Pencils 's blog [link] so THANK YOU again !!
His blog says that to scratch the paper first to make the negative space by a small knitting needle. But I'm afraid that will ruin my drawing. Then I discovered that 3h & 5h actually can 'scratch' the paper if you draw harder on it. The result is almost the same as the techniques that Rick use. Hope this little tips can help you all to draw negative space.

This actually is my 10th drawing on deviantART and this is my first time to draw photo from people on deviantART...
I'm pretty excited his respond on this drawing
